My Story

Basketball. YouTube. Gaming. And more gaming.

Growing up, I was always drawn to the thrill of the court. Basketball consumed my childhood, and I loved every second of it. However, as much as I loved the game of basketball, I also had a passion for video games. On the side of school and sports, I would immerse myself in virtual worlds and experience new adventures. I was so consumed by video games that at the age of 12, I had an offer to go pro in Call of Duty. However, to go pro, you have to be 18 years of age lol. So honestly, thank the Lord that didn't happen.

Little did I know, this hobby would lead me down a creative path. I was fascinated by YouTube videos such as vlogs, "day in the life's," tutorials, and more. I was inspired by the content creators and thought, "I think I can do this too!" So, I did.

What started as a fun pastime of creating gaming montages soon transformed into vlogs and tutorials. This was when I realized I could use my newfound skills in videography and editing to make a difference for businesses.

My first client was Java Juice House. I approached the owner, asking if I could create a video for them for free, and to my delight, he said yes. We created a video promoting their new pumpkin bowl for the fall season. The community loved the video and from there, it was a blur. One free job led to many actual paid jobs, and soon I was creating videos for businesses in the Johnson City area. I also got into the worlds of wedding videography and product photography.

My life then took a big turn in October 2021, when a family friend reached out to me to see if I was interested in creating a reality TV show. The show, "How to Hatley," followed the lives of the Hatley family and their important business moves. Although we didn't end up pitching the show to a network, working with the Hatley family led me to my most recent full-time job as the Brand Manager of their new luxurious resort in Erwin, TN. At this position I created and managed their content alongside the CEO, created an online retail store, and promoted the property to be featured in various press releases. We had a feature in Forbes thanks to their talented General Manager, Terry Spalding. This project was an outstanding experience and one I will always treasure.

Now, I balance my work with Calvary Church and my own side business, continuing to make an impact through my content creation and marketing skills. My journey has been a wild ride, but I am grateful for every step of the way.
